“Let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18
Family #5 – Kista M.
Adults in Home: • Kista M. (Female, mother, disabled) • Currently staying in her mother’s home
Children: • Mehki, age 17 (Male)
Family Story and Situation: Kista shared that she and her son are living on the floor of her mother’s home while waiting for an apartment. She has several serious health challenges, including stage four kidney failure, congestive heart failure, vision loss, and severe neuropathy. She is trying to support herself and her son by selling lemonade at local events, but income is very limited. She also cares for two dogs and her weakened immune system makes daily life even harder.
She expressed that judgment and past experiences have made it difficult to ask for help, but the emotional, physical, and financial strain has become overwhelming. She is trying to stay strong for her son, who is under pressure himself, and she reached out simply asking for help, prayer, and compassion during this season.
