Family Story and Situation:
Tara recently received placement of an eleven year old boy who arrived with almost nothing. She has been providing his food, clothing, and basic needs, but because the placement occurred so close to Christmas, she cannot afford to give him very much. She shared that he is going through a difficult transition after being removed from his family, and her desire is to help him feel safe, loved, and seen during the holidays. Tara expressed deep care for him and simply wants to give him a Christmas that brings comfort in the middle of a hard season.
