Adults in Home: • Angelica S. (Female, mother) • Husband (Male, unstable work schedule)
Children: • Julio, age 6 (Male) • Cristian, age 4 (Male) • Adalet, age 2 (Female)
Family Story and Situation: Angelica and her husband have been struggling as a one income household, especially with her husband’s work being inconsistent from week to week. The recent delay with their EBT benefits made things even more difficult, and they already receive very little assistance. With bills, groceries, and their middle child’s December birthday approaching, they cannot afford Christmas gifts. Angelica shared that some days they do not know how they will cover basic needs, and she simply wants her children to have something under the tree to make them smile during a hard season.
