Adults in Home:
• Cat T. (Female, stay at home mother)
• Husband (Male, recently changed jobs for mental health and family stability)

Children:
• Ellie, age 3 (Female)
• Thalia, age 3 (Female)

Family Story and Situation:
Cat shared that she and her husband moved to Georgia in 2021, and soon after welcomed their first daughter. When the baby was four months old, Cat’s mother passed away. Two weeks later she learned she was pregnant again, and their second daughter was born on December 22. With no family nearby and high childcare costs, she became a stay at home mother while her husband worked hard to support the household.

This year has been the hardest yet. For the health of their family, her husband had to leave a stressful job and start new employment. The change has blessed their home life, but it caused them to fall behind financially, leaving no room for Christmas or upcoming birthdays. Cat shared that holidays are emotionally difficult because she has no family left to reach out to, and all she and her husband want is for their girls to have presents to open on Christmas morning.
