Florida & Venezuela Outreach: Five Willing Hearts, One Faithful God
Five members of the InFlight Missions team set out from Thomson, Georgia, traveling through Jacksonville, Pompano Beach, and Miami as part of our Florida outreach and Venezuela donation effort. We went with a desire to serve, share the love of Jesus, and remain available wherever He led.
The journey brought unexpected challenges, meaningful connections, and a personal testimony of freedom.

A Divine Appointment Through the Wreck

An accident became part of our journey. While dealing with that situation, Bryant Hernandez had an opportunity to pray for a boy he had not previously known about.
Bryant recognized that encounter as a divine appointment. Amid the team’s own concerns, there was someone else who needed prayer. That moment reminded us to remain attentive to others, even when our plans are interrupted and circumstances become difficult.
The team also faced difficulties involving their motel. Through those challenges, prayer remained central as we sought strength and direction to continue.

An Unexpected Connection in the Everglades

In the Everglades, the driver of our boat expressed an interest in joining InFlight Missions on a future mission.
His interest encouraged the team and opened the door to a possible future partnership. A conversation along the journey became a reminder that meaningful relationships can begin in unexpected places when we take time to connect.

Freedom While Worshipping Jesus

At the beach, the outreach became deeply personal for Bryant Hernandez, founder, president, and CEO of InFlight Missions.
While worshipping Jesus Christ, Bryant experienced being set free from anxiety. His eyes were fixed on HIM—not the crowd.
With his attention on Jesus instead of the people around him, Bryant worshipped and experienced freedom. That moment became a powerful part of his testimony and a lasting memory of this journey.
Those who lead and serve still need the strength and care of Christ themselves. Alongside opportunities to share Jesus at the beach, Bryant experienced a moment of surrender that he carries with gratitude.

A Journey That Left a Lasting Impact

Our Venezuela donation effort reflected a desire to care for people beyond our own community. Along the Florida route, the team encountered opportunities to pray, share faith, build connections, and grow in their own dependence on Jesus.
We returned remembering the boy Bryant had an opportunity to pray for, the boat driver interested in a future mission, and the freedom Bryant experienced while worshipping on the beach. Each encounter gave us a reason to keep listening, keep serving, and keep following Christ.
To everyone who prayed, donated, encouraged us, or helped make this effort possible: thank you. Your support helped five willing people take this step of faith.
We give Jesus Christ the glory for the opportunities to serve, the relationships begun, and the freedom experienced.
We do this for Jesus and those in need. May our eyes stay fixed on Him, our hearts remain open to others, and our feet stay ready to follow wherever He leads.
